Soccer Places Two On Academic All-MAC Team

Rein, a Second Team All-MAC selection, boasts a 3.83 G.P.A. in pre-business. This is the third straight season that she has earned Academic All-MAC honors, tying her with former Cardinal Amy Holst for most academic selections in a career. She led the Cardinals in scoring for the fourth straight season as she tallied 16 points on the year. She led the team in goals with five and assists with six.
Ridley, a First Team All-MAC selection, owns a 3.76 G.P.A. in nursing. Ridley was an anchor in the midfield this season for the Cardinals as she earned the first All-MAC honor of her career. She played all 20 games as a central midfielder and finished the season second on the team in scoring with nine points. She was second on the team with four goals, while also adding one assist.
A total of 18 student-athletes were named to the team. The number of honorees on the MAC All-Academic Team is the number that is set for the specific sport or 33% of the number of nominees, whichever is greater. The remaining student-athletes have been recognized as Academic Honorable Mention selections.
