Women's Tennis Completes Day One Of Action At Queens City Collegiate Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Ball State University women's tennis team completed day one of action at the Queen City Collegiate Invitational hosted by Cincinnati Friday evening.
The invitational is made up of four flights of singles with rounds of 16 and two flights of doubles. The Cardinals dropped all of their first round singles matches. Freshman Sarah Hebble (Sellersburg, Ind./Silver Creek) will compete Saturday in consolation bracket against Elizabeth Young of Cincinnati.
In doubles action freshman Hanna Ohman (Pitea, Sweden/Kramfors Tennis Gymnasium) and teammate sophomore Georgina Thomson (Sydney, Australia/St. Margaret's) defeated Xavier twosome Kara Courtney and Jeanette Feider, 8-6 and will advance to the quarterfinals beginning Saturday at 9 a.m.
