Men's Golf at Xavier Monday and Tuesday

Ball State's men's golf team, under the direction of head coach Mike Fleck, will compete at the 20-team Xavier Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Oasis Golf Club in Loveland, Ohio.
Joining Ball State in the event will be Akron, Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Campbell, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Georgetown, George Washington, Marquette, Marshall, Maryland, Princeton, San Francisco, Toledo, Towson, West Florida, Winthrop and Xavier.
The tournament will begin Monday with 36 holes scheduled to begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Ball State's lineup will be Brian Maurer, Andrew Rhodes, Eric Steger, Matt Schumaker and Ross Cosat, while Anthony Novak will be playing as an individual.
Maurer leads the Cardinals this season with a 73.75 average.
