In the opening set, the Cardinals started off with a service ace from senior setter Angie Parrell (Black Earth, Wis./Wisconsin Heights H.S.) and played to a 6-3 advantage, with the sixth point coming on an ace from sophomore defensive specialist
The second game saw IUPUI open with a 5-1 run and never look back, winning the set 30-20.
In the third game, the Cardinals and Jaguars battled to a 9-9 tie before a BSU service error put the hosts ahead for good. After pulling ahead 22-11, IUPUI went on to win the game 30-21.
IUPUI's Ashley Johnson was the top attacker for the night, collecting eight kills while adding four total blocks. Chelsea Bastin tallied a team-best 14 digs for the Jaguars, while Devika Bellamy added 11.
The Jaguars finished the match with a .168 (39-19-119) attack percentage, compared to BSU's -.047 mark. IUPUI also held a 52-50 lead in digs and a 10-8 edge in total blocks. Both teams finished the match with six aces.
