Pallock and Calderwood Named Academic All-MAC

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Juniors Haly Calderwood and Jennifer Pollack of the Ball State women's tennis team have been named Academic All-Mid-American Conference. The announcement was made on Wednesday, May 2 by the league office.
Calderwood owns a 3.828 overall GPA with a major in dietetics while Pollack leads her team with a 3.973 GPA while studying advertising and psychology.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
Ball State ended its season at the MAC Tournament last weekend (April 27) in Toledo with a 4-0 loss to Buffalo.
