Women's Tennis Ends Season With Tourney Loss To Buffalo

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State University women's tennis team (8-13, 2-6 MAC) ended its 2007 season with a 4-0 loss to No. 2 seed Buffalo at the Mid-American Conference Tournament on Friday (April 27).
Buffalo won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead over the Cardinals.
In singles play, Denise Harijanto of Buffalo recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over Haly Calderwood at No. 2. Jennifer Pollack then lost to Andreea Novaceano by a score of 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 3 spot. The Bulls' Nataline Dean clinched the victory after beating Christine Stromberg 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4.
