Men's Golf Concludes Play At Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Ball State men's golf team carded a 297 in its final round at the Fossum Invitational which was hosted by Michigan State (April 21-22). BSU lowered its team score by one stroke after Saturday's second round.
The Cardinals finished 12th in the 13-team event with a three-round score of 885. No.31 Michigan State won its own event with a 841, followed by No. 22 Charlotte at 855.
Senior Andy Skillman led his team tied for a 21st after shooting 217 (72-73-72) for the weekend. Skillman was the lone Cardinal to shoot par on Sunday. Senior Wayne Denger ended the invitational tied for 26th with a score of 218 (74-71-73).
