Denger and Skillman Lead Cardinals At Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Senior Wayne Denger carded a 71 in his second round of golf at the Fossum Invitational Saturday (April 21) to lead the Cardinals on the day.
Ball State shot ten over par on the day for a team total of 588 which places them in 12th. The Cardinals started the day off tied with Toledo for seventh after shooting a first round score of 290.
Senior CD Hockersmith along with classmate Andy Skillman each shot par (72) in their first rounds. Teammate sophomore Matt Schumaker also shot par on his first 18.
Skillman ended the day tied for 29th with Denger while Hockersmith is tied for 50th along with Schumaker. Sophomore Brian Maurer ended the day tied for 66th.
Play concludes on Sunday, April 22nd at 9:00 a.m.
