Gymnastics Ends Spring Trip With Victory Over Alaska Anchorage

Senior Jenna Tarkington shined on vault after earning first place honors after scoring a 9.825. Junior Erica Gilkerson captured second on vault with a 9.800 which was a personal and season high for the Cardinal. Senior Kelly Watson ended the event with a third place finish with a 9.700 vault.
Freshman Bibiana Rodriguez pulled off a first place finish on bars (9.775) which was a career best for her.
On beam red shirt freshman Cobie Zuk captured a second place showing on beam (9.750) to lead the Cardinals.
Watson tallied a 9.775 for a first place showing on floor and also earned top honors in the all-around (38.600) out of four gymnasts.
