Cardinals Finish 18th In Spring Season Opener

RIO VERDE, Ariz. -- Senior Kallie Harrison fired rounds of 78-72-79 to finish tied for 28th overall as the Ball State women's golf team opened its 2007 spring season at the Rio Verde Invitational played in Rio Verde, Arizona.
The Cardinals placed 18th out of 18 teams with a team score of 961. Baylor won the event with a team mark of 886, followed by Arkansas Little Rock with a 889.
Harrison was the only Cardinal to finish in the top 75.
Ball State returns to action March 19 at the Butler Invitational.
