Women's Tennis Hosts Ball State Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State University women's tennis team continues its fall season by hosting the Ball State Invitational this weekend (Sept. 29-30).
This year's invitational consists of 10 NCAA Division I teams. Ball State welcomes Mid-American Conference school's Northern Illinois and Miami University along with in-state competitors Butler and IPFW. Also competing in the invite will be Dayton, Wright State, UW-Milwaukee, Tennessee Martin and Cleveland State.
The Cardinals are headed by Kathy Bull who is in her 19th season at the helm of BSU women's tennis. Ball State returns to action after kicking-off the fall season at Michigan State (Sept. 16-17).
Doubles action begins Friday (Sept. 29) at 8:30 am at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, weather permitting. The indoor courts are located at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. Results will be made available on www.ballstatesports.com at the end of each day's competition.
