Kallie Harrison Sets Two School Records In Denver
September 25, 2006 | Women's Golf
She accomplished two of them in less than 24 hours at the 2006 Ron Moore Invitational played at Highlands Ranch Golf Course outside Denver, Colo.
Harrison fired a Ball State school record for 18 holes with her second-round 71. Her first and third-round scores of 75 gave her a 54-hole total of 221 -- also a BSU school record.
"Kallie played a solid tournament and those records have been on her mind," Mowat says. "The tournament field was really strong. Amy Roberts and Sarah Windlan also had a good tournament."
Overall, the Cardinals tied for 15th in the tournament, which host Denver won. Brigham Young was second in the 16-team event.
Harrison tied for 17th overall at the event to lead the Cardinals. Sarah Windlan (77-78-79=234) tied for 50th, while Amy Roberts (78-84-76-238) tied for 64th.
Ball State returns to action Oct. 9-10 at the Shoot-Out at the Legends played at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin, Ind.
