Amy Roberts To Join BSU Women's Golf Program

Amy Roberts (Toronto, Ontario/Don Mills Collegiate Institute) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Ball State University and compete for the women's golf program, according to BSU head coach Katherine Mowat.
"Amy is a very good athlete and student," Mowat says. "She has worked extremely hard to be at the point where she is at to continue to play golf at the collegiate level. Amy has a tremendous work ethic and passion for the game. I am excited to have her join our program at Ball State."
A participant in the Canadian National Junior Golf Championship for the past three years, Roberts as earned medalist honors in each of the last three seasons on the Ping Regional Junior Golf Tour. She has consistently ranked among the top 30 junior golfers by the Golf Association of Ontario since 2003.
Roberts recently notched a 20th-place finish with rounds of 79-77 at the Toronto Star Women's Amateur. In 2005, she posted four top-six finishes at provincial tournaments, including rounds of 74-78 at the Ontario Junior Masters.
