Baseball Places Two on All-MAC List

Miller, a first baseman, was named to the All-MAC First Team, and Rogers, a right fielder, earned second team honors.
Miller led the MAC with 21 home runs and 74 RBI, a Ball State single-season record. Miller, a senior, also set the Ball State career records for home runs with 50 and RBI with 226. He also leads the MAC with a .719 slugging percentage and is second in the league in total bases per game (2.94), third in runs scored per game (1.21), sixth in hits per game (1.40) and sixth in walks per game (.57). Miller also finished the regular season with a .994 fielding percentage.
Rogers, a sophomore, leads the Cardinals with a .362 batting average, placing him ninth in the MAC. He is also 10th in the league in on-base percentage at .435. Rogers came on strong down the stretch, batting .537 in the final 15 games of the regular season with an on-base percentage of .606 and a slugging percentage of .759.
Miller previously earned All-MAC Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2004. For Rogers, the honor is the first of his career.
