Wilkes-Krier & Sundberg Named Academic All-MAC

Both Wilkes-Krier and Sundberg earned the honor for the second consecutive season.
Wilkes-Krier ended his senior campaign with a team-best 73.00 scoring average in the spring season. The 73 average is the third-best single season average in BSU golf history, while his career average of 74.00 is second all-time in BSU golf history.
Wilkes-Krier set a Ball State school record and First Energy Intercollegiate Tournament record with his 15-under par 201 total to win medalist honors at the famed Firestone Golf Club in April.
Wilkes-Krier was the team's top golfer in three events, including placing eighth at the Kepler Invitational at Muirfield Village. He owns a owns a 3.50 grade-point average as a journalism, telecommunications and digital media major.
Sundberg managed a 78.19 stroke average, the second-best on the BSU team for the 2006 spring season en route to averaging a career mark of 80.60 in her four years.
Sundberg won medalist honors at the Butler Spring Invitational and was BSU's top golfer in three spring events, including tying for sixth at the 2006 MAC Championship.
Sundberg, who owns a 3.87 GPA as a business administration major, posted four top 26 finishes in the spring, including three top 11 efforts.
