Women's Tennis Falls to No. 68 Western Michigan

Western Michigan started out strong, capturing all three doubles matches to secure the initial point.
The Cardinals tried to rally back in singles play, yet could not come up with a win in any of the six matches. The closest battles came at the No. 1 and No. 4 positions, where Jessica Thompson and Katie Owens battled their opponents -- Carrie Jeanmaire and Priyanka Parekh. The WMU players evenutally came out on top 6-3, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-2, respectively.
Ball State looks to bounce back Friday when Northern Illinois visits Muncie at 1 p.m.
