MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State women's tennis coach Kathy Bull has added Rachel Lemar to the 2006 squad. Lemar will begin her playing career at Ball State immediately.
"We are pleased and excited that Rachel has taken advantage of the opportunity to come play at Ball State," Bull said. "Her first couple of days have been promising. She brings a new spark to the team and we are looking forward to having her become a part of our tennis family."
A native of Bromley England, Lemar played for Cheam High School where, in 2004, the team reached the final eight at the HSBC National School Championships. She also played for the Sundridge Park club team.
Besides tennis, Lemar played field hockey, cricket and netball.
A freshman, Lemar plans to major in sport administration at Ball State.
