Rein Named Mid-American Conference Soccer Player of the Week

Freshman forward Emily Rein (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills H.S.) has been named the first Mid-American Conference Soccer Player of the Week for the 2005 season. Rein scored four goals in two games to start her freshman campaign.
She registered both of Ball State's game-winning goals in a 3-0 win over Indiana State Friday and in a 3-2 victory over Butler Sunday.
Rein leads the Cardinals in goals (4), points (8), shots (9), shots on goal (5) and game-winning goals (2). She also tops the league in the same five categories.
The Ball State soccer team resumes its schedule Friday when it hosts Illinois State at 4 p.m. at the BSU Soccer Field.
