Jones, the first male or female BSU basketball player to ever score 1,500 points and grab 1,000 rebounds in a career, set 13 school records, including career points, steals, and rebounds. She was a Women’s Basketball News Service Preseason Fifth-Team All-American prior to her senior season and earned honorable mention on the Blue Ribbon and Street & Smith All-America teams in 1986-87.
