Men's Tennis Records A Pair Of 7-0 Wins Over Taylor

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team swept a double-header against Taylor University Friday night at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 10-2 overall for the spring season.
The Cardinals secured the double points in both of their matches against the Trojans sweeping all six matches. Ball State would take an early 1-0 lead heading into singles play in its doubleheader against Taylor University.
In singles action, Ball State went 12-0 against Taylor winning all 12 matches in straight sets. In the first match, Collin Rigney did not give up a game on court four defeating the Trojans Jake Herbruck, 6-0, 6-0. Bryce Bonin and Khamsi Muhiga also won second sets 6-0 over their respective opponents. In the night cap, Chris Adams took down Jake Herbruck on court four, 6-0, 6-0. Nemanja Guzina won his second set without giving up a game to Christen Jacquottet, 6-1, 6-0 on the top court for the Cardinals.
The Ball State men's tennis team continues non-conference action when it plays at UNLV on Wednesday at 11 a.m. (EST). The Cardinals will also compete against Montana in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 8 at 11 a.m.
