Men’s Swim and Dive Back Home To Face MAC Foe Eastern Michigan

MUNCIE, Ind.– The Ball State men's swimming and diving team will return to Lewellen Aquatics Center this weekend to take on a Mid-American Conference opponent. The Cardinals will host the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m.

Below are the notable times and scores of the men's swimming and diving team leading up to this weekend:
- Ben Andrew sits in the Mid-American Conference top 16 in three different events. He is eighth in the 100 butterfly after touching the wall at 50.10. Andrew is ninth in the 200 IM with a final time of 1:52.86 and sits at 16th in the 100 freestyle (46.78).
- Four Cardinals are in the top 24 in the MAC in the 1650 freestyle. Isaac Walling is 15th in the event with a time of 16:32.00. Right behind him is Davis Meyn in the 16th spot with a time of 16:33.82. Jack Luddy is 18th (17:04.29) while Ryan Jackowiak is in the 20th spot (17:54.68).
- Cullen Tyler leads the team in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke. Tyler has a time of 57.96 in the 100 breast which sits him at 17th in the conference. In the 200 breast, Tyler marked a time of 2:03.84, putting him in the seventh place spot in the MAC.
- In the 200 backstroke, Logan Ackley is 12th in the conference. His time of 1:51.35 in that event also leads the Cardinal squad.
- Other leaders on the team include Zach Reichle in the 50 freestyle (21.53), Davis Meyn in the 200 freestyle (1:43.53), Isaac Walling in the 1000 freestyle (10:09.45), Spencer Ball in the 100 backstroke (51.59), and Adam Pongracz in the 200 butterfly (1:54.83).
- In the 1-meter dive, Gabe Dean and Trey Matheis are in the MAC top 16. Dean is 15th with a time of 197.10 set against Tiffin. Matheis sits in the 16th spot after posting a score of 172.35 against Grand Valley State.
- Sean Wolfe, Dean and Mathies are all in the top 16 in the 3-meter board. Wolfe is 13th with a score of 244.65. Dean is in the 15th spot (216.53) and Mathies is 16th (179.18).
