Several Ball State Football Game Times Announced

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced an updated version of its 2017 football schedule Wednesday afternoon. This includes game times for the first three weeks of the regular season, several protected dates and midweek games in late October and November.
All six of Ball State's home contests now have official game times. The home opener on Sept. 9 against UAB will be broadcast on ESPN3 at 3 p.m. The Family Weekend game on Sept. 16 versus Tennessee Tech will also air on ESPN3 and kick at 3 p.m. Ball State's Homecoming game against Central Michigan on Oct. 21, it's final Saturday game of the season, is slated for 3 p.m. as well. Television coverage for Homecoming will be announced 12 days prior.
Ball State's three home weeknight games will all start at 7 p.m. The Cardinals host Toledo on Thursday, Oct. 26, Buffalo on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Miami on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The Toledo game will air either on CBS Sports Network or ESPN3. CBS Sports Network will cover Ball State's contest versus Buffalo. The regular season finale against Miami will be broadcast on ESPNU or ESPN3.
The 21st Marathon MAC Football Championship game is set for Saturday, Dec. 2 at a time to be determined from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. This will mark the 14th MAC Championship game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, Super Bowl XL and the 2009 NCAA Men's Final Four.
Western Kentucky also announced its game time against Ball State today. The Cardinals will take on Western Kentucky on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
Game time for the contest at Western Michigan (Sept. 30) will be announced 12 days prior to that respective game.
