Third Annual #ChirpChirp Social Media Night Slated for Feb. 21

Brush up on your hashtags, get ready to Snap and, perhaps, go live on Facebook as Ball State men's basketball (@BallStateMBB) will host the third annual Social Media Night on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The Cardinals host Eastern Michigan (@EMUAthletics) for a 7 p.m. tip in a key MAC (@MACSports) game presented by Pridemark Construction.

If fans have not engaged with the Cardinals on social media, now is the time to connect on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat and use the hashtag ChirpChirp. Those who do follow and interact leading up to and during the game will have the chance to win terrific prizes and experiences.

This year, fans who purchase a reserved ticket to the game will receive the official Social Media Night Koozie courtesy of Team Ball State partner Pepsi (@Pepsi). Fans interested in taking advantage should call 888-BSU-TICKET or visit the Stoops Buick/GMC Ticket Center (@stoopsauto) in Worthen Arena. Koozies will be available while supplies last.

Ball State (@BallState) students were able to reserve a personalized Pepsi koozie with their own Twitter or Instagram handle. Additional students who attend the game will receive an @BallStateSports koozie while supplies last.

RecycleMania GameDay Challenge
In conjunction with the Ball State Partnership for Sustainable Student Advancement (PSSA), Ball State is participating in the nationwide RecycleMania to see which university can increase their recycling efforts the most. The GameDay Challenge will take place Feb. 21. Visit with PSSA at the game to see how you can help. Use #BSURecycleMania and follow PSSA on Twitter - @_thepssa. Use the recycle emoji, too!

Students can vote on social media for which big head will debut in the student section (@TheNestBSU).

Be sure to post photos to social media using #ChirpChirp, and the marketing staff will select a winner for photo of the game. We will also post as many photos as we can of fans inside Worthen Arena on ChirpVision via our friends at @Tagboard. Fans can also visit our Photo Booth near Gate 4 where Charlie Cardinal will be present at certain times during game night.
