Volleyball to “Dig Pink” on Saturday versus Northern Illinois

MUNCIE, Ind. - - In an effort to help promote National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ball State women's volleyball program will host its annual "Dig Pink" match Saturday, Oct. 7 versus Northern Illinois.
The Cardinals, who will be wearing pink warm-up shirts, socks, and shoelaces for the match, have once again teamed up with The Side-Out Foundation to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
Fans can help the program reach its goal of $1,250 in donations by contributing at the following link: https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/12811
Last year, Ball State was honored by the Side-Out Foundation for its fundraising efforts. All funds raised for Side-Out go toward a clinical trial specifically for patients with stage 4 breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease and the least funded area of research.
