2022 OUTDOOR: Competed in six events … placed 11th at the MAC Outdoor Championships (May 14) with a season-best 100-meter time of 12.11 … was part of 4x100-meter relay team that placed second in the Blizzard Buster (March 18) with a time of 47.14 and Tennessee Relays (April 9) with a time of 27.21 … ran season-best time of 25.34 in the 200-meter dash at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational (March 26).
2022 INDOOR: Competed in five events … earned a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.85 at the Hoosier Open (Dec. 10) … ran a season-best time of 7.77 during the prelims of the 60-meter dash at the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 5) … also earned an eighth-place finish at the Doug Raymond National Qualifier (Feb. 12) with a 60-meter time of 7.83 … ran a season-best time of 25.83 in the 200-meter dash at both the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 5) and Doug Raymond National Qualifier (Feb. 12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Westerville Central High School … competed for head coach David Mentlow … was an all-state selection in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash as a senior … also won regional title in the 200m as a senior … broke the school’s 200m record and was part of the record-setting 4x100-meter relay … voted team captain as a senior … placed in the top three as a sophomore and senior.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ralph and Lisa Johnson … is an only child … cousin, Jalal Asadullah, played basketball at Lipscomb … plans to major in criminology … chose Ball State because of the proximity to home.
