Finished career first in games started (130), minutes played (4,320) and free throws made (541) . . . Ranks second in games played (130) and field goals made (805) and sixth for blocked shots (69) . . . Scored in double figures in all of Ball State’s 32 games and earned 20 double-doubles . . . Helped lead Ball State to a record of 22-10 (13-5 MAC), its fourth-straight Women's National Invitation appearance and a first-round win over Big Ten foe Iowa (77-72).
2014-15 (Junior): First Team All-Mid-American Conference . . . Mid-American Conference Player of the Week (11/17) , (12/1), (1/12) and (2/16). . . Fontaine led all players in scoring, and became the 23rd member of the Ball State women’s basketball 1,000 point club after tallying 21 points and 12 rebounds against Purdue (11/14) . . . She now has 1,506 points for her career which is good for sixth all-time, and reached the 1,000 point club faster than any player in Ball State history except for Hall of Famer TamaraBowie . . . She has 659 rebounds for her career which is good for 11th place in the Ball State record books . . . Led the Cardinals in scoring with an 18-point performance against Murray State (11/29) and added 10 points versus Duquesne(11/30) to earn a spot on the 2014 Ball State Federal Credit Union All-Tournament team . . . Scored a season-best 29-points in a win over Oakland (12/6) . . . Recorded a 27-point performance against Miami (1/7) . . . a 25-point scoring spree at Akron (1/21), scored 20-points at Toledo (2/7), 23 points at home versus Central Michigan (2/18) and a 25-point showing at Central Michigan (3/4) . . . 2013-14 (Sophomore): Second Team All-MAC honoree . . . Scored a career-high 30 points versus Buffalo (1/26) . . . Has scored in double digits 56 times out of 66 career games . . . She had 997 points for her career as a sophomore and needs three to reach 1,000 . . . Became just the second Ball State player in program history to reach 900 points by the end of her sophomore year . . . Tamara Bowie (1999-2003) was the first to accomplish the feat with 943 . . . Averaged the most points in the Mid-American Conference Tournament for the Cardinals at 15.8 points per game, while adding 6.8 rebounds per game . . . Earned four double-doubles this season and now has nine for her career . . . Managed six 20-point performances, along with a 30-point showing, giving her 11 for the season and 12 for her career.
2012-13 (Freshman): First freshman to receive All-Mid-American Conference Second team honors since 2000 when Tamara Bowie earned the same accolades . . .Named to the All-MAC Freshmen squad . . . Leads the Cardinals in scoring (13.3 ppg) and in rebounds (6.4 rpg) . . . Garnered back-to-back MAC West Player of the Week honors (2/4 & 2/11) earlier this season . . . Fontaine leads all MAC freshmen in scoring (13.9 ppg) in league games only and overall (13.3 ppg) . . . Led the Cardinals in scoring 20 times this season . . . Chipped in 15 points at the MAC Tournament Semifinals (3/15) . . . 55 points behind what Ball State’s all-time leading scorer Tamara Bowie was when she was a true freshman . . . Fontaine has scored 409 points and her career high is 23 for the season, while Bowie tallied 432 points as a freshman . . . Fontaine scored a geme-high 17 points against Northern Iowa in the second round of the WNIT to help the Cardinals advance to the Final 16 (3/24) . . . Was the lone player to earn a double-double versus Kansas State after scoring 14 points and pulling down 12 rebounds (3/28).
SWEDEN: Fontaine, a native of Stockholm, Sweden has represented her country on the Swedish National team from 2008-11 . . . Helped Sweden win the bronze medal in u17 European Championships in 2009 . . . Averaged 7.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 2011.
She won the 2009 Scania Queen award which is represented to the best player in Scandinavia . . . Fontaine was asked to attend the 2010 FIBA camp which is for the best two players in the country . . . She was selected to the Swedish All Star team from 2009-11, winning MVP in 2010.
