HIGH SCHOOL: Named team MVP at Carl Sandburg High School as a junior … helped lead the Eagles to a Regional Championship and ended her junior season with a .516 batting average, to go along with 56 hits, 34 RBIs and five home runs … earned First Team All-Conference and All-Area in both her sophomore and junior seasons … led her team to Regional and Sectional titles her sophomore season after batting .527 average with 59 hits.

CLUB: Gonsch has played six seasons with the Beverly Bandits.

WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because I love the coaching staff and their philosophy. The campus is beautiful and the perfect size for me.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jean and Nick Gonsch … two sisters (Katie and Maria) and one brother (Nick) … currently majoring in criminal justice with a psychology minor.
