"Cameron is a perfect fit for what we are looking to continue to do as a program," said Fleck, a former Cardinals golfer who begins his 28th season leading the Ball State men's golf program. "He has two years of highly competitive collegiate golf under his belt with an impressive head-to-head record over the past year. He was also recognized as one of the top D2 players in the country, earning GCAA PING All-Region honors. He brings a strong work ethic and an experienced, successful, competitive drive to our program. I'm excited to welcome Cameron to our campus this fall."Â
Young had seven top-10 finishes last season, with six in the top five. He had a head-to-head record of 768-173-25 during his sophomore year at UIndy. He was an NCAA DII regional qualifier as both a freshman and a sophomore.
