Shannon enters her second season as a volunteer coach after spending the last four years playing midfield for the Cardinals.
As a senior, Shannon earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors and received All-MAC Second Team accolades. She started all 17 games for Ball State last season and led the Cardinals in points with nine. Shannon tallied three goals for the season while totaling 18 shots.
Throughout her career, Shannon performed strong on and off the field. In 2016, Shannon earned National Scholar of Distinction from the NFHCA and earned Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her career.
Shannon was a four-sport athlete at Bruton High School before arriving at Ball State in 2014 and is a native of Williamsburg, Virginia.
