2023-24 (Junior): Anderson led the Ball State backcourt and ranked second on the team in scoring (15.8 points per game) while pacing the Cardinals in assists (4.5 per game), as those numbers ranked seventh and third, respectively, in the Mid-American Conference ... also finished fifth in the MAC in steals per game (1.5) ... played and started in all 31 games, seeing a team-high 36.3 minutes of court time per game ... poured in a personal best 29 points against Old Dominion (11/11) ... also posted 20+ point games vs Oakland City (11/14), SIUE (12/10), Minnesota (12/21), Akron (1/9), Toledo (1/13), Western Michigan (2/3 and 3/2), Ohio (2/6), Kent State (3/5), and Bowling Green (3/8) ... BEFORE BALL STATE: Played the past three seasons at Loyola Marymount. 2022-23: Played in all 31 games for the first time in his career, making 18 starts and averaging 25.5 minutes per game … scored a career-high 9.8 points per game and surpassed 300 points in a season for the first time in his career … scored 20 points twice, both on the road, at Pacific (12/31/22) and at Colorado State (11/30/22) … made five three pointers and finished with 19 points at BYU (2/2/23) … went 6-of-7 from the field for 15 points in LMU’s win at Portland (12/29/22) … season-high eight assists and career-high seven rebounds in a win over Life Pacific (11/7/22) ... second on the team with 25 steals (0.8 spg) and 68 assists (2.2 apg). 2021-22: Played in 18 games, including all 17 in conference play and the WCC Tournament, after a toe injury on opening night sidelined him for the non-conference portion of the schedule … started three games, all in conference play … averaged 8.4 points per game and scored in double-digits in six games … scored 12 points in his lone non-conference game against eventual NCAA Tournament team Chattanooga (11/9/21). 2020-21: Played in 19 of 20 games as a true freshman, making 17 starts … second on the team with 3.4 steals per game … no freshman played more minutes in the WCC than Anderson’s 31.2 minutes per game … finished ninth in the league with 3.53 assists per game and eighth in assist to turnover ratio at 1.48 ... scored in double-digits in seven games … hit the game-winning jumper in his first collegiate game to defeat Southern Utah (11/25/21) … scored a season-high 16 points in LMU’s PCH Cup win at Pepperdine (2/25/21) … played all 40 minutes against eventual NCAA Tournament team BYU (2/20/21) … scored 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting in his first WCC Tournament game to help defeat San Francisco (3/5/21) … named to the WCC’s All-Freshman team.
