Men’s Golf Announces 2026 Fall Slate

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State men's golf team tees up its 2026 fall slate September 6-7 when it returns to Bark River, Michigan, for the Island Resort Intercollegiate according to the schedule released by 29th-year head coach Mike Fleck.
The Cardinals' return to the Sage Run Golf Club is the first of six events on the team's fall slate and is followed by the RedHawk Intercollegiate (Sept. 14-15) at the Pittsburgh Field Club.
From there, Ball State will host back-to-back events at the Delaware Country Club, starting September 26-27 with the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational - Presented by Devoe Chevorlet.
Last season, the Cardinals established team records for 18-hole (-14 / 266 in round one), 36-hole (-24 / 536) and 54-hole (-27 / 813) scoring at the EY Invite. In addition, sophomore Luke Johnston returns as the event's individual champion after winning in a four-hole playoff and turning in a program-record 54-hole score of -12 (198). Johnston also registered the program record for 36-hole scoring in the event, at -11 (129).
Select Ball State individuals will take on the Delaware Country Club for a second straight event when the Cardinals co-host the Golfweek Put Me in Coach Invitational.
The team returns to action October 12-13, when it travels to the Kampen-Cosler Golf Course for the Purdue Fall Invitational. Ball State closes the fall at the NCR - South Course October 19-20 for the Dayton Flyer Invitational.
While Ball State's complete 2027 spring slate will be released at a later date, it will be highlighted by the Cardinals hosting the 2027 MAC Championships at Talis Park Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
