Soccer Hosting Indiana State in Exhibition Match Thursday Afternoon

The Ball State soccer team is set to host Indiana State in an exhibition at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the Briner Sports Complex in Muncie.
It will be the first opportunity to see the Cardinals in action ahead of the 2026 season, which officially begins on August 12 with a home match against IU Indy.
The Sycamores went 8-6-6 (4-2-3 Missouri Valley) in 2025 for a third place finish in the MVC standings in head coach Paul Lawrence's third year in Terre Haute.
Ball State's second home regular season contest and first after the start of the semester is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 against Cincinnati.
The Cardinals are coming off a 10-7-3 (7-4-1 Mid-American Conference) season in 2025 in head coach Andy Stoots' first year leading the program.
