Rogers Named MIVA Offensive Player of the Week for Second Time in 2026
March 31, 2026 | Men's Volleyball
MUNCIE, Ind. – After his aid in Ball State's sweeps over conference foes No. 11 Lindenwood and No. 12 McKendree on the road last week, senior outside Patrick Rogers was named the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Offensive Player of the Week by the league Tuesday morning. Rogers becomes an honoree of the award for the second time in 2026, earning the co-honor with the Bearcats' Sam Hoskin a few months back (Jan. 27).
With this week's nomination, Rogers has earned the fourth weekly conference award for the Cardinals this year.
Rogers averaged 4.12 kills per set while hitting a .512 clip between the two contests. On top of his 17 kills against the Bearcats, Rogers matched his career-high dig total, collecting 15.
The seventh-ranked Ball State men's volleyball team defends Worthen Arena versus Northern Kentucky April 2 with first serve slated for 7 p.m. ET. The contest will be available on ESPN+ while tickets can be purchased here.
