Ball State Men’s Tennis Returns to Muncie for Key MAC Doubleheader Against UIC and NIU

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team is set to open a five-match homestead this weekend, hosting Mid-American Conference (MAC) rivals UIC (6-5, 0-1 MAC) and Northern Illinois at either the Foster Adams Family Tennis Complex and Bill Richards Tennis Courts (outdoors) or First Serve Tennis Facility (indoors). Both matches will begin at 1 pm ET.
Ball State (6-7, 1-1 MAC) enters the weekend looking to build momentum after a split road trip last week, which included a 5-2 victory over Toledo on March 6 and a 5-2 loss at Buffalo on March 8. The Cardinals currently hold a 1-1 conference record and are aiming to capitalize on their 3-1 home ledger this season.
The all-time series between Ball State men's tennis and UIC is highly competitive, with a 2-2 record in their last four matchups as of April 2025. Their recent history includes a 6-1 win for Ball State in March 2024, which marked the first meeting between the programs in UIC's history.
