MUNCIE, Ind. — The Ball State women's tennis team (5-3) returns to its home courts tomorrow, Sunday, March 1, to host Cleveland State (2-9) at the First Serve Tennis Center. The non-conference dual match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. ET.

The Cardinals enter tomorrow's contest with significant momentum following a statement 4-1 home victory over No. 69 Cornell last weekend. The team is led by the nationally ranked doubles duo of Sarah Shahbaz and Isabel Tanjuatco, currently ranked No. 87 by the ITA. Senior Asia Ting Fontana also enters the match on a hot streak, having recently earned MAC Singles Player of the Week honors for clinching back-to-back match points.
The Vikings arrive in Muncie looking to rebound after a 7-0 loss to Buffalo on Friday. Cleveland State is led by Ella Franz, who recently became the program's all-time leader in individual doubles wins.
Following the match Sunday, Ball State will play at Western Kentucky on Thursday (2 pm ET) and then finish its two-match series at Bellarmine on Saturday (Noon).
