Women’s Volleyball Falls at Miami in Tuesday #MACtion
October 20, 2026 | Women's Volleyball
OXFORD, Ohio - - The Ball State women's volleyball team saw its three-match winning streak come to an end Tuesday evening with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-20) setback to Miami at Millett Hall.
Despite a team-high 12 kills from junior opposite Tiffany Snook, the Cardinals (14-6; 5-4 Mid-American Conference) were unable to find an offensive rhythm as the RedHawks (15-5; 7-2 MAC) extended its league-leading winning streak to seven matches.
While Snook connected for a .476 (12-2-21) attack percentage, and senior middle Camryn Wise hit for a .692 (9-0-13) clip, the Ball State offense was limited to a .196 (36-15-107) rate of success.
Ball State would hold a slim 53-to-52 edge in team digs, paced by 12 from junior libero Sophie Ledbetter and 11 from junior outside Audrey Geer.
Unfortunately, the RedHawks started the match with three straight service aces to set the tone of the night. Miami finished with a 9-to-1 edge in total aces.
Senior setter Lindsey Green saw the bulk of the setting action for Ball State, dishing out a match-high 26 assists. She also added six digs, one kill and BSU's lone service ace.
Grace Kreutz led the RedHawks with 14 kills, while Molly Creech connected for 10. Kreutz also led all players with 14 digs.
The Ball State women's volleyball team returns to action Friday, when it hosts Akron at 6 p.m. for Alumni Night.
