Hilton & van Hal Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team

MUNCIE, Ind. - Emma Hilton (Clark, New Jersey) and Emma van Hal (Wageningen, Netherlands) of the Ball State field hockey team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) academic all-district women's at-large team. Hilton and van Hal join fellow Cardinals' Jasmine Driscoll, Sarah Gallagher, JJ Gregston and Ashley Szymanski.Â

Hilton, a five-time Academic All-Mid-American Conference recipient and National Field Hockey College Association (NFHCA) academic squad member earned a NCAA ethnic minority and women's enhancement graduate scholarship in 2024. Hilton recently graduated from Ball State in May with a degree in art.

van Hal, will return to the Cardinals lineup this fall for her junior season. van Hall is a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree majoring in history. She currently owns a 3.733 grade point average.
