Cardinals Take Part in Pro Day Prior to NFL Draft
March 03, 2025 | Football
A day after the NFL Combine concluded in Indianapolis, and ahead of the NFL Draft in late April, Ball State conducted its annual pro day on Monday afternoon at the Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility, to showcase Ball State athletes in front of pro scouts.
Scheduled out of convenience for scouts for NFL teams who were already in the state for last weekend's Combine event, four former Ball State players worked out for a group of nearly a dozen scouts who measured the Cardinals in the vertical jump and broad jump, the 40-yard dash, bench press, various shuttle and cone drills, and position-specific workouts intended to help evaluate a player's value in advance of the upcoming draft and free agency.
Participation in Monday's pro day was split evenly between offensive and defensive players: OL Jon Mucciolo, LB Keionte Newson, RB Braedon Sloan and DB George Udo.
The 90th annual NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
