
Divers Earn Three Zone Marks at Miami Classic

OXFORD, Ohio - - Ball State's divers ended the regular season on a strong note, turning in three NCAA Zone Diving qualifying marks over the two-day Miami Classic.
On the men's side, senior Porter Brovont qualified on both boards with a score of 307.60 on 1M and a 331.75 on 3M. In fact, his 331.75 Saturday morning on the 3M board was the seventh-best individual score in program history.
Ball State's other NCAA Zone Diving qualifying mark came in Saturday's finals when sophomore Leelah Fettig place second on the 1M board with a score of 265.65, just topping the 1M qualifying mark of 265.
The Ball State men's swimming & diving program returns to action Feb. 19-22 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships hosted by Miami. The women's squad travels to Buffalo for the Mid-American Conference Championships Feb. 26-March 1.
