Women’s Tennis Plays Two Matches in East Lansing This Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team will take a 3-1 overall record to East Lansing this weekend as the Cardinals will play Youngstown State Saturday at 3 pm ET and host Michigan State on Sunday with a 2 pm ET first serve.
The Cardinals have won three-straight matches with their only loss coming against Notre Dame on Jan. 17. BSU has recently defeated Eastern Illinois (6-1), Oakland University (5-2) and Dayton (4-3). Youngstown State enters the weekend with a 6-4 ledger while Michigan State is 6-2 on the year.
Ball State last defeated the Penguins last year on Feb. 16 by a 4-3 decision in Muncie. The last time the Cardinals took down the Spartans was on Jan. 26, 2014, by a score of 4-3.
After this weekend, the Cardinals will play at Xavier on Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 pm ET before hosting in-state rival Butler on Sunday, March 2 with a 1 pm ET first serve.
