Men’s Tennis Set to Host IU Indy & IU East Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team is looking to get back on the winning track this weekend, as the Cardinals are set to host a double-header Saturday against IU Indy (12 pm ET) and IU East (5 pm ET) at the Northwest YMCA Tennis Center.

Ball State enters Saturday's contest with a 4-4 overall record after suffering 4-3 losses to Xavier and Cleveland State last weekend. IU Indy comes to Muncie with a 5-5 ledger while IU East owns stands at 0-4.

The Cardinals own a 21-1 all-time series record against the Jaguars. Ball State earned a 7-0 sweep versus IU Indy last season in Indianapolis on Feb. 16, 2024. The last time the Jaguars beat the Cardinals was a 7-0 decision on Feb. 8, 2003, in Muncie.

After this weekend, the Ball State men's tennis team will take its annual spring break trip to the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club for the 135th Annual Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship (March 1-3). The Cardinals will also play a dual match against Villanova in California on March 2.
