Cardinals Prepare for Two Meets This Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State track and field will send out two groups on Friday (Feb. 14) and Saturday (Feb. 15) to compete. One group will head to Allendale Michigan for Grand Valley State's GVSU Big Meet, and the other group will represent at Wisconsin's Windy City Invite in Chicago, Illinois. This will be the team's last regular season meet before the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Last time out:
The Cardinals had a successful outing at the Gem City Invite last weekend (Feb. 8), coming home with multiple top finishes and personal best performances. Winning their events were Sophie Daugard and Jenelle Rogers. Daugard secured first in the 60-meter hurdles, tying her personal best in a time of 8.84. Rogers won the shot put, throwing 14.73 meters.
