Baseball Facing Three Opponents for Fall Ball

The Ball State baseball team will play a trio of opponents in the next few weeks as part of its fall ball schedule.
First up for the Cardinals is Kalamazoo Valley Community College at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Ball State will scrimmage the Ontario Nationals at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 before taking on Butler at noon on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Each contest will take place at Ball Diamond in Muncie.
The Cardinals are coming off a 2023 season when they went 35-23-1 (18-12 Mid-American Conference) and advanced to the MAC Championship game. Rich Maloney has 988 career wins heading into his 30th season as a head coach.
