Women's Golf Places Seven on WGCA All-American Scholar Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - - Seven members of the Ball State women's golf program were named to the prestigious 2023-24 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.
Representing the Cardinals for the second straight season were Madelin Boyd, Jasmine Driscoll and Sarah Gallagher.
Jenna Estravillo, JJ Gregston and Madelyn Young all earned the honor for the first time in their careers, while Sabrina Langerak was a recipient in her debut season at Ball State after earning the award in each of her first two seasons at Taylor University.
The Cardinals have landed at least four golfers on the All-American Scholar Team for six consecutive seasons. Ball State's seven honorees for the 2023-24 season tie with Northern Illinois as the most for a Mid-American Conference program.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players.

- Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
- Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
