Men's Basketball to Play at Georgia State in MAC-SBC Challenge

Season Opener for Cardinals on November 4th
The Ball State men's basketball team will open its 2024-25 season at Georgia State in Atlanta on Monday, Nov. 4 as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge, the Mid-American Conference office announced Thursday.
The Cardinals will play the Panthers for the second time in the series' history after Ball State blasted Georgia State 115-58 on December 21, 1984 in Muncie.
The MAC men's teams will host Sun Belt opponents on Saturday, Feb. 8 in the back end of the conference clash, which took place for the first time last season. Ball State beat Old Dominion 73-68 last Nov. 11 in Muncie before falling 68-60 at Texas State in February.
The remainder of the 2024-25 schedule will be announced at a later date.
