Cross Country Ready to Take On Falcon Invitational Meet

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State cross country team will head to Bowling Green, Ohio on Friday for the Falcon Invitational meet. Racing will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the Steve Price women's 6k on the Mel Brodt Cross Country Course. Â
Most recently, the Cardinals had an impressive competition at the Joe Piane Invite on October 4 where they finished fifth overall in the 5k Gold Race. Carly Spletzer was the lead runner, coming across the finish line 22nd with a time of 17:48.8. Sarah Mahnensmith and Evie Noel finished close behind. Â
There are 16 women's teams scheduled to compete on Friday, including four conference opponents. The meet will be streamed on YouTube through WBGU, click here to watch live.Â
This will be the last regular season competition before the Cardinals host the Mid-American Conference Championship meet November 2nd on the new Ball State Cross Country Course. Â
