Cardinals Host Annual FAN JAM for Area Families

Food, Games, Music and Fun all are FREE on Aug. 12 at Scheumann Stadium
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University department of athletics hosts its annual FAN JAM on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Scheumann Stadium, in anticipation of back-to-school calendars for area families and the fall sports schedules for Cardinals sports teams.
Kids and families from Muncie and surrounding school districts are welcomed at 5:30 p.m. next Saturday for food, games, music, fun, activities and autographs involving athletes from each of Ball State's fall sports teams – football, volleyball, soccer, field hockey and cross country. Each sport area will have skills contests and games for kids on the stadium turf. The event will end at 7:00 p.m.
Parking and entry at the stadium both are free of charge. Approximately 1,000 youngsters took part in last year's festivities.
