MUNCIE, Ind. - - After battling itself for nearly two weeks in preseason camp, the 2023 Ball State women's volleyball team will get its first taste of outside competition Saturday when it travels to Northern Kentucky for a 2 p.m. exhibition match.
Admission to the match, which will be played at NKU's Regents Hall, is $7 for adults and $5 for youth. - CLICK HERE TO ORDER TICKETS
The two-time defending Mid-American Conference regular season champion Cardinals will battle the Norse for the first time in fall exhibition play. Ball State is also coming off its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, and third in the past four seasons. The Cardinals finished the 2022 campaign with a 24-9 (15-3 MAC) record and earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Ball State returns several key contributors from last season's team, including first team All-MAC honorees Marie Plitt, Cait Snyder and Megan Wielonski. Wielonski was also named the MAC Setter of the Year after helping the squad finish the year ranked first in the MAC and 43rd nationally with a .250 team attack percentage.
With Saturday's match being an exhibition contest, live audio, video, and stats will be unavailable.
