July 17, 2023 | Field Hockey
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team has released its 2023 schedule. The Cardinals look to build off a successful 2022 campaign behind second-year head coach Caitlin Walsh.
"I cannot wait to see what our team has in store for this season," Walsh said. "Despite being on the road a lot this upcoming fall, we are super excited about the strength of our schedule. We are facing some out of conference teams that we have not seen in years."
The Cardinals wrapped up the 2022 season on a high note as Walsh guided Ball State to its first tournament appearance since 2019. The Cardinals also had one of its best seasons in over a decade. Additionally, freshman Fleur Knopert earned First Team All-Mid-American Conference honors.
