
Jenness & Ndavazocheva Earn AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Accolades

LEXINGTON, K.Y. - Senior Kaleb Jenness and sophomore Tinaishe Ndavazocheva have earned AVCA Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Jenness, a four-time All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association First Team selection, was also tabbed preseason All-MIVA prior to the start of the season. Jenness ended the season ranked 20th in the nation in kills per set (3.66). He led the Cardinals in kills (359), digs (150) and points (409.0). Jenness has turned in double-digit performances 21 times this season including a season best 21-kills at Loyola Chicago (2/16) and UC San Diego (3/5). Jenness recently earned MIVA Player of the Week honors on April 11. Jenness finished his career second all-time in kills at Ball State with 1,217.

Ndavazocheva has turned in quite the rookie season for the Cardinals. He earned All-MIVA First Team honors while also receiving MIVA Offensive Player of the Week accolades and Off the Block National Honors on Feb. 7. He registered a career high 27 kills against Lewis (2/9) and has had 22 double digit kill performances this season. Ndavazocheva ended the season ranked second on the team in kills (342) and in points (397.5).

The Cardinals were crowned back-to-back MIVA regular season champions and earned the top seed in the 2023 MIVA Tournament where Ball State reached the title match but fell to Ohio State, 3-1.
